New York Stock Registration Statement:

All stock issued by New York corporations must comply with strict New York securities laws, which require that all corporations file a registration statement notifying the state that newly-created stock has been issued. This statement must be filed within 10 days of the date of incorporation. Failure to do so is punishable both civilly and criminally.
